Hello Gurmeet
In your straight pant cutting video you told 1-20 is slightly more then waist/4+2 so you took it 12 inches. While 3-4 is 11 inches and as we know 1-3 is half inches so 3-20 is 11.5 inches am I right? One more thing in your cutting tutorial you just cut the back panel that meet the front panel and not more then front.
Waiting for your straight pant sewing video.
Thank you
Rabiya

Dear Rabiya,
Regarding the measurements the post updated 🙂
In my cutting tutorial video I’ve first shown the video of front cutting and then the back cutting. I think you are confused some where.

Hello
I want to ask you about 1-4 is it a straight cutting or slightly slant. As I saw in our videos it’s a slant. Waiting for your reply
Thankyou
Gurmeet Kaur says
Dear Rabiya,
1-4 is a straight line. Actually making it bold the line seems slant.
Rabiya says
Hello
First thanks for your reply .i saw many videos but didnt find them ok to follow butyour one click me. I had made draft according to your procedure but i also included extra half inch from all side for sewing but when i had made the trouser it was too loose from waist.should i cut the cloth according to draft without including extra half inch.
Second i gave 5 inch long pleat on both side of the front panel in center mark as my tailor always did it.
Third my tailor always keep the 1/4 inch difference in back panel on the lower side and slowly increase it upto 2 when it reach to thigh round.
Fourth most of the trouser when we wear the crease will move inside and not in center of knee that looks odd.
Rabiya
Gurmeet Kaur says
Dear Rabiya,
Seam allowance is included in the straight cut ladies pants draft. So no need to add extra inch to it.
Every tailor has his/her own way of sewing.
Try to make straight cut pants according to our draft and let me know if you face any issue.
Crease usually appear when the shape is not given proper. Try to sew it in a proper shape.
Hope I’ve cleared all your doubts 🙂
