Yoke neck kurti / tunic making is my today’s post. There are many types of yoke pattern kurti. Like round yoke pattern, rectangle shape, square shape etc. I will show you how to draft the yoke pattern. You can make very easily these kurti patterns. Now the fabric of yoke design is usually of different color. I would recommend you to use a contrast fabric for the yoke pattern. In my tutorial the kurti fabric is in black and grey print, whereas the yoke fabric is pink net fabric. So let’s see the yoke pattern kurti drafting. How to make yoke design

For yoke pattern kurti drafting you first have to draw the basic kurti pattern.

Making of yoke pattern kurti drafting :

We will make the designer yoke neckline in our kurti as shown in image below. The shape can be any. I have drawn different shapes. You can draw the yoke design as per your choice.

Now you can see in the below image I have drawn 3 different shapes for yoke design. The shape a, b, c. If you wish you can draw the yoke design as per your wish.

Yoke pattern drafting:

• 1 – a  = 5″
• 1 – b = 6″
• 1 – c = 7.5″
• 1 -A = 9″
• 1 -B = 11″
• 1 -C = 8″
• Draw the shape from a – A.
• Draw the shape from b – B.
• Draw the shape from c – C

Above measurements can be changed as per your requirement. The yoke length should not exceed 15″. What I prefer is between 12″ to 14″. In my video tutorial I have drawn simple glass shape yoke. And I have used net fabric for the yoke pattern.  The video of how to make neck yoke.
